i think i am almost ready.

ok so i have been thinking about it more and more, and i think i am almost ready for a robotic/bionic prosthetic, i am thinking a hand, maybe an ilimb, because you can get different skins.

maybe i could donate my services to Kevin Warwick and his project cyborg.

i had an idea the other day, if i was choosing to replace my hand, then they could save more of my hand, like the skin, and the nerve endings,so in theory couldn't the flay my hand and then put the skin and nerves back on my bionic limb? cause then i would have full feeling.

also tomorrow i will be writing about some ethics of transhumanisum, also if you guys have any other topics you would like to hear my views on,feel free to ask.

some house keeping.

ok so i know a lot of you have been reading the blog, but no one has been commenting, why is that?

cause i know you have views, cause you vote on the blogs, but you don't give me feed back.

i do kinda want feed back,so i can improve my blog, and also so i know you like what your reading.

also spread the word about the blog.

the more people read it,the more i am likely to write more.

list of terms

ok so i thought i might make a list of words and slang that i use.

  • Humanish= people who choose to "stay human" by not adopting human enhancementtechnologies, whose choice Transhumanists believe must be respected and protected. word derived from the Amish who are a religious group in the US probably most known for their avoidance of certain modern technologies.
  • Transhumanist= someone who believes in improvment of humanity through the use of technology. >H, H+ symbols used to repersent the world transhumanist

scientists have a chat about my favorite obsession

take a look at this

now i always hoped i would get to become post human, but it would seem it is truly possible.

i am amazed that there are scientists out there taking this seriously.

this a big step forward for the trans-humanist community.

Transhumanism

Transhumanism, its something i feel very strongly about, its something i hope to see in my life time, and i guess in a way i have faith that i will.

now what it is ,children is the elective augmentation and enhancement of the human body through genetic, chemical and mechanical means
e.g. bionic(robot-kinda)arms or bionic legs.

imagine it you could replace any damaged part of your body with cloned parts.

or lets say you have genetic defect, then why don't just get gene therapy.

mind you there dose not have to be problem in order for a transhumanist to "replace" or "upgrade" a part of the physiology

a transhumanist is merely someone who seeks the next stage of human evolution by technological means, and in general they are atheists. as you may have already figured out,i am a transhumanist(or at lest i am working on it)

now this is a very short article, but i will write about this more at a later date,if any one has questions feel free to ask, there is a comment button

2020?

anyone watch the broadcast this morning on ABC1 about the 2020 summit? it was one of the few things that i have seen a government do in my so far short life time, that i was actually proud of.
its nice to see that kevin rudd cares about the future and is willing to listen to not just other peoples ideas, but the ideas of our nations youth.

but i have a question, where do you,my so far non-existent readers, see our(and your own) nations in 12 years?

or even where do you see the world?

hello

hello children of internet, this post is just to say hello, and inform you of what to expect from this blog. i made this after watching the 2020 summit on abc tv(thats Australian tv) basically it was a meeting of 1000 people from around Australia to talk about our nations future, and to come up with ideas on where we want our nation to be in the year 2020. and i decided i wanted to try and voice my ideas about the future.

thanks for reading, i hope to hear from you soon.

more posts soon.
